The Public Works Department of Lower Milford Township works hard to perform road maintenance.  We appreciate your input by inviting you to report downed street signs and any road situation which may need immediate care.  

Just a reminder:  Please keep trash cans off of the cartway and refrain from parking on the roads.

Attend fire and be prepared to extinguish.  Stay at least 50' from trees.

SNOW TIPS:

    Roads are plowed in the following order:  Collector roads, Local roads, Cul-de-sacs.

    Mailboxes should be securely anchored. (The stakes provided with your mailbox are not always strong enough to withstand plowed snow, which can be very heavy.)

    Lower Milford does not plow State roads.

    Should an emergency arise before your road is plowed, call 9-1-1 and a truck will be dispatched immediately.

    The township only assumes responsibility when the plow comes in direct contact with your mailbox, shrubbery, fence post, etc.  If damage was done as a result of snow expelled from the plow, it is the property owner's responsibility.
