Enroll in the Agricultural     Security Area

Since the start of the program in 1989 there are approximately 201 parcels of land encompassing approximately 6,046 acres of Lower Milford Township in Agricultural Security.   There are 36 farms  encompassing 2,779.15 acres of Lower Milford Township in the County Land Preservation program.

The Graber Farm was the first farm to be preserved in Lehigh County in 1991.  The farm is located on Kings Highway in Lower Milford Township .

Currently we are accepting Agricultural Security Area applications for owners of property consisting of 30 acres or more in Lower Milford and Upper Saucon Townships.  If your property abuts a property currently enrolled in the Agricultural Security Area and you own 10 acres or more you also qualify to enroll.  

To enroll in the Agricultural Security Area you may submit an application at the Lower Milford Township office.   Click here for form.

Once you have been accepted into the Agricultural Security Area you can take further steps to preserve your land by contacting Jeff Zehr (610-391-9583 ext.15) of the Lehigh County Agricultural Center, Land Preservation Board.

Voting

Registration forms and Absentee Ballot applications can be obtained at the Township Building during regular office hours.

The Lehigh County Board of Elections has moved the polling place for Lower Milford from the Chestnut Hill Church to the Township Building at 7607 Chestnut Hill Church Road, Coopersburg, PA.
