LOWER MILFORD POLICE DEPARTMENT
7607 Chestnut Hill Church Road
Coopersburg, PA 18036
Police Chief: John Dondero
Police Officer: Arthur Williams
EMERGENCY: DIAL 9-1-1
FOR NON-EMERGENCY: (610) 437-5252
VOICE MESSAGE: (610) 967-4949 ext. 102
We are getting calls and visits from residents that there is illegal hunting going on in several locations in the Township. Hunting using a light, shooting from a vehicle, and hunting within 150 feet of any structure are all illegal. Further, if residents see this happening and give information to State Police or the Game Commission, there is a reward for reporting the violation if the poacher is caught.
Unfortunately, we have no police to hit these roads right now and it is happening on Township roads (Bell Gate and Kraussdale, to name a few). Residents who are seeing active hunting (shooting) should call State Police immediately, they are at 610-395-1438. Residents should also call the Game Commission at 888-742-8001 (the Game Commission is the one that offers a reward) or they can visit the website at
to report a violation. You should do this particularly if hunting is happening at the location with any regularity.
Please, when on vacation, take advantage of our Domestic Security Check.
Please, feel free to use the 9-1-1 system if you see any suspicious activity or vehicles in your area, that’s the best way to get one of our officers on scene to investigate as quickly as possible. Note descriptions of persons and vehicles involved with a registration number if possible.
Thank you in advance for keeping open communication to help keep our community safe.
