LOWER MILFORD TOWNSHIP of LEHIGH COUNTY

SPECIAL MEETING

Thursday, March 27, 2006 at 5:30 p.m.

MINUTES

Chairman Richard Harris called the meeting to order at 5:32 p.m.  Present were Supervisors Arland Schantz and Donna Wright.  Also present were Township Solicitor Emil Kantra, Township Manager Ellen Koplin and approximately 7 others. 

Harris called the meeting to order and announced the only item to be commented on would be the specific litigation before the township at this time.

MOTION was made by Harris to adopt Resolution 2006-14 delegating authority to the Township Manager for a specific litigation matter.  Schantz seconded the motion.

Attorney Kantra explained the nature of the Resolution and that the litigation involves a waiver obtained by Geryville Materials, Inc. from DEP to do some test drilling on the site of the proposed quarry.
