10.       Authorize Supervisors to work on township roads in 2009

11.       Set meeting day and time for regular monthly meetings of Board of Supervisors

12.       Set meeting day and time for monthly Board of Supervisors workshop meetings

13.       Authorize advertisement of meetings

14.       Designate Board of Supervisor delegates/voting delegate to the 2009 annual PSATS     Convention in   Hershey, Pennsylvania

15.       Appoint Township Engineer

16.       Appoint Building Code Official and Building Inspector to enforce the PA Uniform          Construction Code

17.       Designate depository for Lower Milford Township. (Sovereign Bank for 2008)

18.       Appoint Township Sewage Enforcement Officers for 2009.  Currently serving are:

·        John Kortvely-Primary, PA Certificate #02131

·        Guy Beiber-Alternate, PA Certificate #00634

19.       Appoint resident to the Vacancy Board for 2009

20.       Appoint residents to non-elected boards/commissions  

·        One four-year term on Planning Commission to expire 12/31/2012

·        One five-year term on the Recreation & Open Space Brd. to expire 12/31/13

21.       Resolution 2009-1 Appointment for one five-year term on Zoning Hearing Board to      expire 12/31/2013

22.       Establish wages for 2009:

·        Part-time Bookkeeper/Township Treasurer                                           $19.00/hr.       

·        Part-time Administrative Assistant                                                           15.50/hr.

·        Director of Public Works/Zoning Officer & Planning Admin.                  48,410/salary

·        Township Manager/Township Secretary                                                62,800/salary

·        Police Chief                                                                                          56,500/salary

·        Patrol Officer                                                                                        18.00/hr.

·        Public Works Dept. – (2008-20012 union contract - 3 members)         19.66/hr.

23.       Establish reimbursement for employees using personal vehicle for township business at   the rate of 55 cents per mile (IRS Rate)

24.       Appoint Earned Income Tax Officer for Lower Milford Township, Southern Lehigh       School District, currently held by Paul Bauer
