Call 610-967-4949 ext 5 during business hours for the exact drop off location.
Lower Milford has a Burning Ordinance
This Ordinance regulates the days, times and distances from structures and wooded areas you may conduct burning. Open burning of yard debris also requires notification to the Lehigh County Dispatch Center at 610-437-5252
Contact Drake Brintzenhoff, Public Works Director, with any questions on when and where you may burn or you may access the ordinance on the Documents page.
Be considerate of your neighbors, and use common sense during windy or dry conditions when planning on starting a fire.
!Watch for Illegal Hunting!
The Township Office is receiving calls and visits from residents that there is illegal hunting going on in several locations in the Township. Hunting using a light, shooting from a vehicle, and hunting within 150 yards of an occupied structure are all illegal. Further, if residents see this happening and give information to State Police or the Game Commission, there is a reward for reporting the violation if the poacher is caught.
It is happening on Township roads (Bell Gate and Kraussdale, to name a few). Residents who are seeing illegal hunting activities should immediately call State Police at 610-395-1438 or Lehigh County 9-1-1. Residents should also call the Game Commission at 888-742-8001 (the Game Commission is the one that offers a reward) or they can visit the website at
http://bit.ly/1NbB91M to report a violation. You should do this particularly if hunting is happening at the location with any regularity
